Villnöß and surroundings
The Villnöß valley has something for everybody’s taste, from vineyards to extreme mountaineering! You can expect a landscape that has been crafted and shaped by farming for hundreds of years and offers numerous well looked after paths for ramblers and walkers.
The close-by towns of Chiusa, Bressanone and Bolzano are all worth a visit and offer a wealth of historical buildings, museums, tourist attractions, as well as extensive shopping facilities. Lake Garda and Venice are also within reach for day trips.
During spring and autumn, the holiday region Villnöß, around the Natural Park Puez Geisler, appears perhaps at its most inviting, offering a mixture of colourful meadows and woodlands and white mountain tops.
